Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist
Bill Patterson is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist
who specialises in helping individuals achieve their goals in health
and wellness, self improvement, fears and phobias, anxiety management,
addictions and rehabilitation programmes.
Originally, following an extensive career in senor
corporate management, he made a mid life career change
to pursue his keen interest in mind body healing and
the role of hypnosis in facilitating change.
He holds a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and a Postgraduate
Diploma of Psychotherapy from The Australian Academy
of Hypnosis and is a member of the AHA
(Australian Hypnotherapists Association).
He is a lecturer in hypnotherapy training for various
Colleges and several professional associations.
His work in psychotherapy often employs counseling
or hypnosis as a tool to assist with a wide range
of issues, particularly anxiety and stress related
life problems.
Bill works both with individuals and groups using Ego
State Therapy and Bio-Feedback
monitoring and training. These approaches offer an
empowering experience that enables the client to manage
physical and psychological symptoms or resolve underlying
causes of problems that are often hidden from conscious
awareness.
As well as his clinical practice in Toorak, Melbourne,
he has had over 25 years experience conducting workshops
for both corporate and personal development and has
worked with thousands of participants in transforming
personal growth.
He has taught and practiced meditation for over 15
years.
Bill regularly conducts public group meditation evenings at the
Camberwell Community Centre, last Friday each month. Meditation
